A comparison...
Non-Union workers criticizing the compensation of Union workers is like...

Military personnel safely stationed stateside criticizing the hardship duty pay, family separation allowance, hostile fire-imminent danger pay and other compensation earned by soldiers in a combat zone.

But actually it's even worse...

Because the benefits received by all workers today (weekend, overtime, sick leave, etc) were hard won by union members.

=======

If you think the struggle for unions workers shouldn't be compared to the military, please review the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_union_busting_in_the_United_States">History of Union Busting in the United States. Much blood has been spilled.

And if you want to see some of today's violence against union workers see http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2009321991_apeueutradeunions.html.">South America i.e. http://www.sacw.net/article1733.html">Colombia, Guatemala, http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/07/14/AR2010071405832.html">Venezuela and Honduras. (Not to mention Asia)
