#Libya military officer tells me 3 naval ships ordered to sail to Benghazi to attack it. Crew torn about what to do.

I wouldn't think "torn" was the operative word; if the crew was opposed and the Officers were loyalists, people would be getting shot.

...put the money into some productive threats against Lybian ships who are willing to fire on their own citizens. I'm sure the investment, even if we don't launch a single anti-ship missile, pay off in spades with a future, free, Lybian government.

I should be clear, I'm half-joking but I like the idea of U.S. military might actually being put to some use the world finds "positive".
