This is all orchestrated by the big money men, What do you think they do after the empire they built don't really need them any more? Something about wealth just makes people want more and more of it. the more they get the more they want the hell with how they get it once they feel secure enough to feel they can buy themselves out of anything or pay off anyone. Then they get ballsy.
Think back to the lead up to the big depression for a scare.

In my fondest dreams, Walker self destructs and takes Kasich with him as collateral damage.
