Right winger(nuts)s (all four of them) take on 'Left Coast'
Washington (CNN) -- Hollywood's bright lights have shone favorably on Pat Boone for more than half a century, so it might come as a surprise that he recently delivered a scathing indictment of the entertainment industry.

But Boone is an advocate for conservative beliefs and values. He offered his sharp criticism of Hollywood during a speech before the Conservative Political Action Conference.

From Boone's perspective, the entertainment industry is, in part, to blame for the United States' poor image and standing abroad.

"I'm an entertainer, a singer, an actor, a member of that privileged class that too often has acted like an aristocracy entitled to fame, luxury, mansions, millions of dollars, with no boundaries on behavior or responsibility for its actions or the worldwide fallout of its immorality and decadence," Boone said in his address to CPAC earlier this month. "The movies and television and music that we used to produce created an image of America the world envied and wanted to experience. Now, the millions around the world call us the 'Great Satan' -- and with good cause."

A couple of things to note about the article:

1.) It was fed to CNN by Andrew Brietbart.
2.) There really are only a couple of conservative hollywood personalities listed in the artical.

1. It's actually a pretty funny article
The only actor in the thing that I consider has any talent has to be Gary Sinese.

If the article was a direct feed from Brietbart it really failed near the end with the unbelievably whiny screed emanating from the piehole of the vacuous and most annoying Victoria Jackson.

When asked why she thought there was a coordinated effort to stifle conservatives in Hollywood she replied with. "Do you see me on TV? Do you see me in movies? Of course there is an effort to silence conservatives". She of course forgot the most logical explanation for her lack of success which is that she is a really really lousy actress with the most annoying voice since Pee Wee Herman.

6. I thought that was funny too...
Victoria Jackson...Good grief!

I remember reading about another SNL female comic

who was on the show at the same time as she (can't remember her name)

but I remember that she said something like:

"I never got her...the voice...I feel like saying to her

'You're a grown woman!..Use your lower register'"

3. Glad to see that the only conservative entertainer I really like,
Gary Sinise, was not there...

I don't know where Gary went wrong, if you will

but I can hardly see him getting down on with the likes

of Pat Boone.:eyes:

7. I don't know what to make of Gary
This morning, I watched his production of "Of Mice and Men" starring him as George and John Malkovich as Lenny. It's not actually something you would expect from a winger as it depicts wage slaves working for the master.

Then again, I guess that's what REAL wingers want, as long as they don't end up being the slaves~

8. I know....I don't know what put him on that path
whether his family was conservative, or what.

He is a patriot in that he travels to see the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan

all the time....Hell of an actor, too.

Can't find one word about it on the CNN website - every Faux news is carrying something on it.
