I apologized to hubby today for disapproving his buying a cheesehead
in the Green Bay airport a few years ago. We were returning to CT from a vacation in Door County and he wanted to bring back a cheesehead. I said it was too odd looking and what would he possibly do with it in CT anyway?

Well, today I see that same cheesehead as a badge of honor and I am sorry for my earlier, unfortunate opinion on the matter.

A funny side to this: when we boarded our little plane to get Milwaukee, two young boys had their cheeseheads taken away by the steward and put in the plane's closet. I told hubby that would be him, too, if he had bought that cheesehead and we would be so embarrassed! We still get a laugh out of it...

Anyway, I'm sorry, Wisconsin...

1. OK CT, you've cleared your conscience with US..........
Now, have you apologized to HUBBY yet? :)

I'm just asking as a hubby who gets VERY few of those things. Not cheeseheads, apologies.

4. Yes, that's what I said, didn't I? Or at least I thought I related that.
I told him I regretted it.

We'llprobably get one in the Green Bay airport this summer when we visit Door County. And that's fine with me!

to make up for my mistake, I promise to spend money in Door County this summer and do my part to help the WI economy!

We have some very dear friends (loyal progressives) in Door County. It's a lovely area and we really enjoy it...
