Walker deflects criticisms of comments in prank call
http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/116761804.html

Gov. Scott Walker denied that he indicated he wanted to break public unions in a phone conversation with a blogger who identified himself of prominent GOP contributor David Koch.

Critics seized on the remarks made by Walker in the call, saying they showed his proposed rollback of public worker bargaining rights was aimed at killing the unions.

During a news conference, Walker said, however: "The bottom line is the things I've said are things I've said all along."

The union rights cut is about balancing the state budget and helping local officials balance their budgets when he proposes steep cuts in state aid for the next two years, he said.

3. "The bottom line" - that's what people say when they want you to ignore everything they've said...
...up to that point. Like comments made as a result of a prank call, for example.

5. Of course he "deflects." It's their M.O.
I'm surprised he didn't say he knew it was a prank all along and that he was just leading the prankster on...

8. Bullshit
In the call Walker explicitly said his offer to "talk" was a deliberate ploy, a ruse, a lie in order to stab the Dems and the union workers in the back. Where and when has Walker been saying THAT all along???

9. Sure, just what he's been saying all along
But notice that he only says it to one of his sugar daddies. Stuff like the suckering of the Senate Democrats (should they be stupid enough to trust a word out of Scott Walker's mouth) hasn't really been publicly stated by the Gov. Prolly has to do with national security or sumpin.

10. You know the scariest thing about this call? The lack of security!
So just anyone can pick up the phone and get the governor of Wisconsin on the line and tell him any bullshit story??

What an ineffective public servant.

I think I'll call him tomorrow and see if I can sell him something. Maybe he'll give me his credit card number!

11. Tell him you're a Nigerian prince
Something about how your uncle had a whole lot of money, yadda, yadda, yadda. Walker impresses me as the type of greedy little shit who'd fall for that kind of bait.
