They certainly carry nothing most of us would miss, and we might lose them enough viewers that they notice it, especially if we tell them we are doing it. They love their money, and obviously nothing more, so we might want to attack their wallet.
They care nothing about the left anyway, and it should be no loss to us.

2. It's just mind boggling how they cover every teabagger rally. But are MIA when it comes to rallies
from the left. Even the anti-war protests of the Bush administration there was no coverage, with the exception of Cindy Sheehan.

5. But the baggers bring guns. There's a big difference.
The American audience likes the thrill of will there be blood shed?

6. I can't remember the last time I watched a network news show
Edited on Sat Feb-26-11 10:01 PM by csziggy
And there are few network shows I watch anymore - Bones, Harry's Law, and The Mentalist are the ones that come to mind right now, though there are probably a few more.

More often in the last few years I wait until the shows I like appear in syndication on some cable channel rather than watch them on the local channels with their variable broadcast quality and obnoxious local commercials.

7. Can't boycott something if we aren't the customer.
A boycott announces a goal, usually a change in behavior a the targeted company, and then encourages consumers not to buy certain products until the company responds. Lettuce, bus rides, things that people pay for.

We aren't customers of the MSM news shows therefore we can't boycott them.

8. CBS News gave the demonstrations about a minute of coverage tonight.
Much less than their coverage of events in Libya, but they did mention them.

9. I watch network TV only to understand what my enemy is thinking --
really, did you expect the MSM to cover the working class sympathetically?

10. Hmmm... that will be easy during the offseason
I watch MSNBC, Comedy Central, HBO, Tennis Channel, and Soccer Channel. Only during the NFL season do I watch Fox (Bears) or CBS (AFC).

My participation will have 0 impact.

11. The Interests of Their Parent Companies Come First
Their "news" programs don't make money, they never did. That is not the point.
Their purpose is to shape public opinion.

They have probably noticed that Al Jazeera is getting more viewers than they are.
Even though we have to watch it on the net.

Will that cause them to change their ways? No!
They'll just crank up the propaganda even more.

MSNBC doesn't do News on the weekend. SINCE WHEN DOES NEWS TAKE A WEEKEND BREAK??? Let me guess, if people worked the News room on the weekend its time and a half? So MSNBC doesn't want to pay that? I can't see any other reason to show crap all weekend.
