and the current debate is about public sector unions and the perceived conflict of interest that lawmakers willing to flee to another state when eventually back in charge. Would those same lawmakers negotiate in the best interest of the taxpayers and the state's fiscal health when they bargain with the public unions that they went so far out of their way to support.
