US citizen recalls 'humiliating' post-9/11 arrest
(AP) – 5 hours ago

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Handcuffed and marched through Washington's Dulles International Airport in his Muslim clothing, the man with the long, dark beard could only imagine what people were thinking.

That scene unfolded in March 2003, a year and a half after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. One of the four planes hijacked in 2001 took off from Dulles. "I could only assume that they thought I was a terrorist," Abdullah al-Kidd recalled in an interview with The Associated Press.

Al-Kidd called his airport arrest "one of the most, if not the most, humiliating experiences of my life."

The humiliation had only just begun.

1. I was working with a women researcher who wore the hijab...
a Muslim American citizen, originally from Jordan. On 911, I and her colleagues immediately became concerned for her and her family as well as those of the nearby community mosque. There wasn't much we could do except offer our cell phone numbers and to accompany her or her family at any time they felt uncomfortable and we did so for a couple of weeks. She was very appreciative of our support and as the years have passed and I lost touch with her, I've often wondered how things have gone for her and her family.

Ironically, the anti-Muslim climate seems far worse now than in those days following 911. sigh....

4. That's what we did in L.A. We got a car pool going.
People were afraid to do their errands, go to their doctors.

Is it worse now? Maybe I'm just out of the loop. Those days were pretty bad.

name one thing the guy did wrong as this is written - is there any clue here about wrongdoing?

Read again and note and remember what goes on behind the news of those grandiose grandstanding liars who stand before the cameras pimping their department's 'good work' for their corporate masters who need to secure their thefts.

Where is President Obama?
