2. My union used to have that on the back of our union T-shirts
They've since changed designs a few times, and my old T-shirt is worn, faded, and a bit stained, but I can't throw it away because I like the slogan to much. :fistbump:

10. And I'll say this again too: All the on-air talent on the big networks, including Pox I believe,

are UNION members. AFTRA, I think (American Federation of Television & Radio Artists). All the big local stations and networks require that of their on-air people. Including Pox Noise. stuart varney and bill o'reilly and glenn beck and all those assholes. At least I think so. It's been awhile since I was working (I'm still AFTRA). Wonder what they'd say if all of a sudden THEIR agents couldn't bargain for better contracts for them, 'eh?

15. It was new to me. Which means it will undoubtedly be new to many others also.
I'd never heard it before but I'm glad to hear it's already been put to use. It's too good NOT to be put to use! And now, preferably, on a far larger scale. I'm hoping there's just a Whole Lot about the union movement that most people don't know, about which they will now learn much more. I'm sure my own knowledge is far sketchier than it should be. This is it in an up-close-and-personal presentation. This has put a human face on the whole idea of unions - nowhere to be seen are the "thugs" and "goons" that the wrong-wing blathers on about. What word do they always attach when they utter the word "union"? "Goons" or "thugs." Invariably. And you say that over and over and over again and pretty soon anyone who's listening to you starts becoming adapted to that idea, and it's thoroughly and effectively absorbed. It's SO wonderful to see this particular kind of human face on the pro-union demonstrators. They're kids, middle-class'ers of all kinds, the kind of folks with whom you'd be standing in the check-out line, elders, cops, firefighters, teachers, working people. They're beautifully peaceful and orderly, and as has been noted officially, they've cleaned up after themselves. They've made no trouble whatsoever. The ones considering violence and disruption are the OTHER guys.

SO good that the public is getting a different view of pro-union demonstrators, going to the mat for what they believe. The public finally gets to see that these union people are NOTHING like what they've heard, and that what the unions have fought for, on behalf of working people everywhere, are things we value and in too many cases have come to take for granted.
