An awards show does not deserve continuous live coverage on a news network. CNN is bogus.

Live continuous coverage of an entertainment awards show belongs on a network like "E".
Not on a news network.

We need to call CNN and tell them to take this shit down and tell us what is going on.

There are better things to watch on TV, if you must watch National Geographic Wild, Food Network or other choices. I could care less to watch the awards tonight and I won't. Again corporate whores want you to buy into that crap.

Besides, with all the horrific shit going on in the world, don't you think the newscasters deserve a respite? The Oscars will affect the way the world works in no way whatsoever, but they're a relief for the people who get to cover them.

10. I agree. The Oscar ceremonies took place during WWII-

people need a break from reality occasionally.

By the way,I never watch The Oscars but I have seen most of the films. Will check to see who won around midnight (EST).
