Tea Party nutcases in Ohio think they're in an actual war.
Edited on Mon Feb-28-11 02:37 AM by JohnnyRingo
The leader of the Portage County T-Party Nutballs inc reported this like a war journalist and openly suggested guerilla tactics, but they came off more as the gang that couldn't shoot straight.

They wore red shirts as a uniform, "a way to identify themselves" they said, but when they arrived they discovered the union members were also wearing red, making them almost invisible. Instead of admitting what morans they are, they figured that when the union discovered the Teabaggers plan they went out on an hour's notice and printed up thousands of red t-shirts. Hahahaha.

They arrived by introducing themselves to the police as "patriots", available to prevent trouble from the union goons. They were told they couldn't enter the statehouse because it was full and further that they didn't have a permit. They were asked to move off the steps to the sidewalk. Again, it wasn't their ill planning that failed to obtain the permit, but a "Saul Alinsky" tactic that they will be "prepared for" next time. Hahahaha

Being from the Youngstown/Warren Ohio area myself, I can tell you first hand that their account by the 20 "patriots" there is a complete fabrication. As reported in the Warren Tribune Chronicle, the small crowd "ran the gauntlet", leaving their designated area and verbally taunting union protesters into action. It failed and was reported as such, making them appear as mentally unstable troublemakers. In the end they claimed overall victory, as many of the protesters saw their their point and realized they had to forfeit collective bargaining rights for the good of the state. Hahahahahahahahahaha.... As if

3. They have been lamenting this over on FR and trying to come up with something
Saul Alinsky visits Ohio for Senate Bill 5

Some of the choice tidbits although the mods did remove the one about getting an 80 year old woman to spit on someone so she could get beat up.

Not giving you stuff, but very difficult to read. What I can pick out confirms my impression of the Madison Tea Party that I went to last Saturday. We were totally confused and lost after we got off the bus. There was no focus or crowd instructions for us and being outnumbered 3 or 4 to one was tough. Once we actually got in our permitted area it was better.

First, these marches are not as important as the polls every other year in November. That is the most convincing power the Tea Party can have.

However, to make an impact on the Public Psyche, Tea Parties must come to the place that they are willing to “pay any price, bear any burden,” to overwhelm these Union Mobs. In other words, Tea Partiers are just going to have to take off of work, free themselves from their commitments, and join the battle on the front lines, in greater numbers than the thugs and stooges. THAT ALONE will change the PUBLIC perception that the Unions are “winning” the battle to get their way.

Of course, we NEED to support these Governors and Legislators who are FINALLY standing up to the Unions who’ve sucked the Taxpayers dry for decades. DON’T turn your backs on them, and DON’T let them go wobbly. Call them, email them, remind them you supported them, and pledge to be there with them ALL THE WAY — as long as they STAND for the principles of Fiscal responsibility, an END to special interest sweetheart deals, public Unions, collective bargaining and pensions for public sector workers we, the Taxpayers, cannot afford and DID NOT APPROVE OF.

What might be neat would be to gather a gang of conservative bikers in full leathers on motorcycles with straight pipes. I hate to say Harleys because that’s made in union states, but Alinsky says you have to sacrifice sometime.....

that any of them were ever accepted into college.

9. HiTech RedNeck (Hawk) might be surprised to find that a lot of these
conservative bikers are also union workers. Maybe they can organize their motorchairs (paid by medicare) to intimidate the people who are pushing back on these corporate thugs.

19. Don't mention Harleys because they're made in union states. hahahaha
Hahahahahaa. I can see them putting up on Mexican made mopeds and swarming around the protesters honking their little bulb horns like Shriners at a parade.

Bad to the bone.

I can't stop laughing at this fantasy they're living. Just when the Tea Party thought they were calling the shots in this country, they discover otherwise.

Edited on Mon Feb-28-11 02:11 AM by Jaredzen
These are the oldest bunch of "kids" i've ever seen.
I personally interviewed a few Tea-Party / Republican leaders recently. I think it turned out HILARIOUS. After debunking all of their conspiracy theories I confronted them about the President being born in the USA.

5. "There was no focus or crowd instructions for us"
Yeah, that's a problem. Without a Koch coach, they really have no idea what or why they should be counter-protesting. I think they just are a bunch of anti-socialists that just don't like anyone who is not in their immediate family or a comrade poster on FR. These people couldn't organize a rally without supervision, but think they can run this country. Morons and/or rubes.

15. That's kinda been my take
In the cinema of life, these are the extras. Take away the Tea Party Express busses, and the Fox camera assistant with the bullhorn, and they just mill around 'til they run out of coffee.

PS: My wife works near the NH state capitol, and I've seen the TPE caravan - when you get out of camera range, it's pretty f'n pitiful....

13. they've been itching for a fight
for awhile now. wasn't there a post last week about plans to infiltrate meet-ups and make the pro-union groups appear unbalanced? their repuke handlers supposedly called them off when they found out though. this was in cali, sounds like they're using similar tactics in ohio.

20. It's amusing that they think they have a monopoly on guns in this country.
I only they knew.
I'd like to drop one off in uber-Democratic Cleveland Heights or anywhere in Youngstown with every gun he has and bid him luck as I peel out with my thumb on the horn. If he's lucky, they'll just steal his guns.

To them it's the freedom to be told what to think, what to do, how to act, what to believe.

24. I've been wondering
How do they breed?

I mean, seriously, how do they even know which hole to put it in? Do they have cousin Betsy standing by the marriage bed shouting instructions? Or does Rev'd Getsiton have an illustrated, biblically correct book?

Enquiring minds need to know ...
