1. What really bugs them is that they aren't getting sucked up to like they want
You can condense everything they are about down to that. Every idea, every "principle" they have - it's all about what they want and how they are supposed to get what they want, regardless. The Teabilly Manifesto says nothing more than "I'm better than you are! Suck up to me!"

2. I don't agree -- it's exactly as the cartoon suggests:

They are angry because they think someone else (especially someone "less deserving") is getting something they don't have. So rather than asking why they aren't getting those things, too, they just want to be sure nobody else can get them.

7. K&R- I am a retired state employee. We had to go begging people to
take jobs with us-we had hiring fairs, newspaper ads, flyers and pamphlets at every state unemployments, computerized state job search sites everywhere...ANYONE with eeven minimal skills could have found some sore of public job they could qualify for, even if it was road construction or driving a small truck or van.
Ansd we never got enough-we had mandatory OT until about 2 years ago , when a law was passed against it...we never had enough people to fill and entire shift.
The teabaggers could have had the benefits, the low salaries and disrespect of everyone who thinks we are somehow stealing from them...and they could have become a target for every loudmouth idiot politician without any better plan or idea.

We had so many new people quit because the working conditions were horrible, low pay and lack of respect, and the terrible management that they were constantly hiring and training new people for the last 10 years I worked there. Many did not stay even for the full training period!

If they were so jealous of our "wonderful" jobs, why didn't they get one for themselves?
