Deciphering Jibberish
"There are times when we’re among family, we’re among Democrats, where we want to talk about being Democrats," Obama said. "But today I want to talk to you a little about being a American, I want to talk about those things that bring us together as opposed to the things that drive us apart."

Shut up you fringe elements, when I'm with Democrats I'll tell you what you want to hear. But when I want to do Republican bidding, act like an American for my re-election aspirations, please...

When Obama said that he'd just been with former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, the pool report notes, "the crowd booed and hissed." But Obama said "Even though Gov Bush and I disagree on a range of issues we agree on the importance of education to America."

I'm with the republicans on education reform.

"It’s still possible for us to tackle tough problems in a constructive way. We don’t have to be calling each other names, it doesn’t have to be an ideological battle.

Don't try to make me represent Democratic values when it comes to education reform. Can't you people get along with the republicans idea of corporatizing public schools? Why are you battling me on this?

He defended his budget proposal, saying "I am willing to cut whatever spending we can afford, what I am not willing to do is to cut back on the basic investments that are going to allow us to win the future."

See what I did just there. I made it look like Democrats in this audience are against winning the future.

2. The profit motive would not care about childrens education.
Edited on Sun Mar-06-11 10:26 AM by RandomThoughts
Moving that profit motive can help with that, but you need a check and balance, which is society being able to overrule money.

And that is not part of the private sector.

The private sector has a scissor paper rock of.

shareholders (many are ceos)
Company ceos
employees

but the bottom is not give overrule of the top. So it fails.

Actual buisness model of

Company
production
consumer

Does have a rock paper scissor, but when it goes monopoly, the consumer can not define production any more, also bad education, and not learning what things really cost, removes consumers check on company by PR systems also.

If you make schools a broken system where money systems rule them, instead of public systems, or union systems, or employee owned systems, then it will fail, it will create consolidations.

The right wing education is to create consolidations, to leave behind the poor, and give as much to the rich as possible.

It is rationalized by people that think some other group deserves to be in hell, and the rules applied back on that really suck, so good education is really needed.

Profit motive in schools would fail, and things like lack of tenure, and lack of teacher protections is to get people to teach to a test, so that test can set the ideology for a nation.

It is really obvious.

However if they mess up the school system, things will continue where people learn that they don't learn in school, an example of the system taking the blame of that fault. And eventually the idea of having some degree with be thought of as worse, or even dumb, since it straddles a person with debt to some rich shareholder also.

In the same way, the media system is taking blame for bad media informing of people, and from that it is being broken down.

It is the same system of effects in many things. If you use bad to support bad, it does not indoctrinate, it moves people out of that system, and any system that tries to cover for it.

The effects are pretty easy to see.

However they might get it right, but monopoly people like Bill Gates, is not the thoughts that would work in a education system, unless he has changed his views on consolidations and monopolies.

And since he has not sent me the beer and travel money that is due, I doubt he has changed much. Funny things, the compromises and sell outs required to have the beer and travel money payment capability, also removes the understanding that would get a person to properly correct that by sending that money to me. So that is why it is a locked in situation, where they will crumble. Since the ability to pay the beer and travel money that is due, and having choosing to do that, are not compatible thoughts. Making the payment not happen, even when explained why, and leading to the breaking up of the consolidations.

Also why I can explain how it is due, without worry of it being paid and stopping the needed breaking up of the consolidations. While still supporting justice and compassion. Hence why most of my post is for them to understand why after.
