To put the bogus "$7.5 million" clean story in context.... the Chicago blizzard clean up cost.....
Blizzard Costs Chicago More Than $37 Million

CHICAGO (AP) -- The city of Chicago estimates that the historic winter storm that hit Illinois in early February cost $37.3 million.

City budget director Eugene Munin says the dollar figure covers costs to the city and related agencies for snow removal and other weather-related services from Feb. 1-9. The winter storm was the third most severe in city history, with more than 20 inches of snow.

Of the $37.3 million, $14.5 million was spent at the city's airports and $13.3 million was spent at the Department of Streets and Sanitation. The remainder was spent at agencies like the Chicago Transit Authority, Chicago Public Schools and Chicago Park District.

**So it cost $37 million to clean up the entire city of Chicago and we were supposed to believe that cleaning up one room was a fifth of that cost**

1. How about if we put the Wisconsin capitol damage at zero?

State officials on Friday distanced themselves from Thursday estimates of over $7 million to clean up the Capitol, but the concerns remain about the tape used to attach posters to walls and the effect it may have had on marble.

Many of the papers and banners posted in the statehouse were put up using painter's tape, which is employed to minimize effects on walls. Stephans said Friday he had ordered that tape sent to the Capitol during the demonstrations to minimize effects on the building.

On Friday, some of the tape and fliers had already been removed. In one second-floor hallway at least, no perceptible damage to the marble appeared where the tape had been removed.

I have seen nothing to indicate that anyone has found any actual damage whatever.

2. It is criminal of him to state such things and I hope he gets recalled.

3. IMO Walker administration officials illegally perjured themselves by making this claim in court.
They did it to get a more favorable ruling from Judge John Albert, knowing they would never be prosecuted for their crime.

5. Scott Walker's such an inveterate liar
He'll lie when it isn't necessary, and it's obvious he's lying. I thought the painters' union did a stellar job of calling him out on that $7.5 million cleanup whopper. Pinocchio would be ashamed to tell such a lie.

6. 7.5 million may be the lower estimate,
if Halliburton does the clean-up.
