Wow - I never knew that my state (MD) was so full of homophobic Dems!

The state legislature is on the verge of legalizing same-sex marriage, and you can't go a day without hearing a vicious homophobic rant from at least one Democrat. This one guy -- Emmett Burns -- is particularly vile.

I realize that I should be proud of the fact that my state is about to make history in a good way, but it's still incredibly discouraging to see people who are otherwise decent act like such jerks.

The more they hear about it from actual Democratic voters the more likely they are to stop acting like assholes. If they don't change the next primary make sure to vote for a Democrat that believes in civil rights.
