Alan Simpson Strikes Again: Snoopy Poopy Poop Dog and Grandparents Don't Like their Grandkids

Wow, just wow. This is the man we are supposed to trust with Social Security solvency... really?

Alan Simpson sure as hell is the gift that keeps on giving.

On his quest to paint Social Security a "milk cow with 310,000,000 tits" and mission to cut SS and Medicare benefits while being "serious" about the deficit, he stuck his foot in his mouth, AGAIN.

Here is the quote from Politico:

“This is a fakery,” Simpson said on Fox News. “If they care at all about their children or grandchildren, and sometimes I doubt that – I think, you know, grandchildren now don’t write a thank-you for the Christmas presents, they’re walking on their pants with the cap on backwards listening to the enema man and Snoopy Snoopy Poop Dogg, and they don’t like them!”

we have a whole cadre of old, mean white guys at our local diner. They're in there talking (loudly) about how awful Obama is. They seem to be there whenever hubby and I stop in for lunch. I'd go elsewhere but this place makes the world's best yankee bean soup!

Good heavens, why is Alan Simpson testifying before Congress, anyway? Oh, that's right; to fill us all in on the final report of his Catfood Commission. The final report that was never issued, with findings that were never endorsed by the commission. But, as I predicted months ago when this charade was shambling to its conclusion, the fact that a final report was never issued will only be noticed by beady-eyed nit-pickers. The rest of Official Washington will simply pretend that the Commission made findings and issued a report and go from there.

Toward raising the retirement age (work until you're 90, you fucking slackers!), cutting benefits for future retirees (you'll get by fine on $357 a month!), and means testing (so much easier in the future to cut a "welfare" program for poor people than to monkey with benefits everyone gets).

but seriously, you are absolutely correct. The fact that he is testifying before the Senate Budget Committee today on CSPAN and they are lapping it all up is completely nauseating.
