or will Republicans actually force a shut down? I am fairly certain the House Budget Bill will never pass the Senate. Republicans, especially the Tea Baggers are just like Gov. Walker and adamant that they will NEVER compromise. I suspect they feel emboldened by Obama's appeasement to them and will stand pat.. They want to shut down All Social Programs and they make no bones about it. They want to end All Collective Bargaining although that is not in their current Bill it is on their aganda..I heard on The Ed Show last night that Republicans in Indiana are now focused on prevailing wage. They want to bring everybody's wages down so their corporate backers can make more money..It seems so damn obvious to me that I don't understand why our Party is so hesitant to react..We need recall petitions in every state that was taken over by the Tea Baggers. We need to Act or else it will be too late..They are not hiding their intentions, even the slightest..

1. I don't think that there will be another continuing resolution,
I expect the 'Pugs to hold the country hostage again, and again, I expect Obama and Dems to preemptively cave rather than fight.

it down. We can't be doing continuing resolutions every couple weeks for the next year or so. I checked out the teabagger crowd in my county. Most get government checks in one way or another. Retired or disabled, work for the VA or military or some other civil service job. At least 5 are retired Federal government employees. At least one had an adult child on medicare, getting chemo for the third time in 8 years. She joined the tea party because she doesn't want anyone taking her daughter's medicare away. Die hard Fox viewer, right wing only reader and bought into death panels. It is sad really, she used to be a pretty smart women.
Anyway I fear it will take a shut down to get anything through the thick skulls of the idiots that think government is bad. So just get it over with so some real work can start and we can concentrate on the economy and jobs.
