1. Yup, me too.
The majority of the citizens of Wisconsin did not vote for this agenda.

4. LOL.. if Walker has to compromise
he'll do something even dumber in the near future. He's fucked, it's pretty easy to see what kind of person he is, even if he has to compromise he'll never admit he was wrong. So he'll go out and do something just as stupid in the near future.

5. Fuck yeah
He's shown the state and the nation what an unqualified corporate goon he truly is.

Do not -- repeat DO NOT toss the keys to the Republican dropout.

6. They need to recall all the legislative losers, including Walker, who tried to bust up unions.
Then have special elections and get Democrats in who will work to actually help the people of Wisconsin!

7. I would say yes. He's demonstrated he is duplicitous.
However, because the recall will likely happen no matter what, he's probably more brazen and unwilling to negotiate.

A Catch-22 to be sure.

8. Why the hell not?
He caused the upset. He should be yanked from office.

10. I hope the Democrats won't compromise on any of the workers' rights.

As for Walker, I think Wisconsinites have had it up to here with his dictatorial style, as well as his corrupt sense of doing business. I predict the recall will go all the way, full steam.

12. absolutely!
There's no way in hell that guy is staying in office! Too many people in WI are PO'd at the guy - regardless of what he does now - except maybe saving babies from a burning building single handedly.

14. I think we need to use the recall as leverage for the compromise.
Then honor our end of the bargain. What Walker needs right now is a way to get out of his pigheaded posturing with his nads still intact. Not because he deserves it, but because it's the best way for us to get collective bargaining off the table. That was the point of the protests and the recall. If we press on after that unprovoked, it could backfire on us.

Plus, it won't be long until he tries to pull some new and more outrageous shit - then Wisconites will collect plenty more recall signatures.

But really the ball is in his court.
