Re - Scott Walker - Have any liberal journalists found and interviewed
persons who were involved in exposing Scott Walker during those election violations back at Marquette University. Why was he asked to leave the university?

1. Malaise, the story is that Walker was caught cheating in Marquette
and kicked him out of the school.

That's the story I hear.. I'm sure it's confirmed true.

3. I think it was student election-type cheating,
not necessarily classroom cheating.

8. My (sketchy) understanding is that the campus paper endorsed his opponent...
...so Scotty and his buddies went out and trashed all the copies of the paper they could find.

That's why he was "invited to leave," as far as I can recall.

11. it was a student election scandal
During his sophomore year at Marquette(1988) for student body president.

Lots of lies and mudslinging and then his team was caught confiscating and tossing piles and piles of the student newspaper (Marquette Tribune) that called him on it and said he was "unfit to govern" in its headline.

Do not know if he was asked to leave, but he IS a "college dropout" with a stellar 2.3 average. His Wiki says he "attended college" for four years, but does not say where, only that he gave the reason for stopping college as needing money for tuition and "family responsibilities."

If he took courses at another place besides Marquette, it would prove to me that he was kicked out of Marquette. If he stayed there after 1988, then just a regular low achieving dumbass.

I find it interesting that his bios just say "college" instead of Marquette as that it a well regarded institution in the state.

it would appear that access to his records at Marquette would provide the answer.

13. From the Marquette Tribune Oct 2010
Walker’s campaign record murky
By Brooke Goodman. Published October 26, 2010.
Nice play is far away and forgotten, as the Wisconsin gubernatorial race between candidates Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker (R) and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett (D) has turned from agreeable to negative.

<SNIP>

Walker attended Marquette from 1986 t0 1990, but never attained a degree (see page 5). His sophomore year, Walker ran for president of the Associated Students of Marquette University (ASMU, the former title for Marquette Student Government). He was accused of violating campaign guidelines on multiple occasions.

The Tribune reported then that he was found guilty of illegal campaigning two weeks before his candidacy became official. Later, a Walker campaign worker was seen placing brochures under doors at the YMCA. Door-to-door campaigning was strictly prohibited.

There are some interviews, but it is not clear that they were in school with Walker at the time.
