2. NPR hasn't had balls since they let Bush make them fire the lady from The Good Night Show.

NPR is National Pussy Radio.

5. Well, "chickenshit syndrome" describes both NPR and the Dems as a whole
which is why the other side keeps getting away with this stuff, even when we have -- or had -- a "majority..."

11. Hey I live in Texas. There is no difference here between NPR and Fox that I can tell
I know that NPR is a great and progressive voice elsewhere but I never pay any attention to it here in TX; only when I'm on vacation and that hasn't been for over 5 years now...

7. Look It's Clear That The Repugs Will Stop At Nothing To Destroy Anything That Is Good.......
about this country. Your examples in your post and now look what just happened in Wisconsin. They will use any tactic - any means to take this country apart piece by piece. They don't care what people/voters think. They don't care what is said about them in the press. They just keep on marching on. They'll take on an issue that they know will give them an edge or more power and just whittle away at it until it's destroyed.

We on the other hand - look for compromise and are always weighing what will be said about our actions. That is appearing more and more every day to be a losing strategy.

A real sad day for America and American Workers and it ain't over yet.

8. O'Keefe is the Front Guy
The bumbling front guy O'Keefe is presented as an independent Guerrilla Reporter. He is backed and covered and no matter how little his tactics actually bring forth they are quickly given high merit and instant widespread coverage especially by FOX. It is not that O'Keefe is effective. It is the instant notoriety his law breaking amateurish schemes are imparted and overly dramatized credence his junk journalism is given. There is no way in hell, if all the facts were covered honestly, that ACORN would go down.

Item: ABC News carried O'Keefe as its lead story with him coming out looking the vigilant Crusader. Does O'Keefe's schlock deserve more coverage than WI Gov Scott Walker's faux David Koch interview containing REAL questionable ethics? There is a nexus of Corporate News aiding and abetting O'Keefe. And it is getting more blatant.

9. The wrong word is under that photo. Felon was the word
they were looking for.

They could not have taken down ACORN if Democrats had not allowed them to do it. That was when I truly wondered whose side the party I thought was on our side, was on.

Only 75 Democrats voted against defunding ACORN. They all should have been censured later since the bill was judged to have been a Bill of Attainder, meaning it was illegal to even vote on it.

But, do not expect Democrats to vote to fund NPR.

When they went after ACORN, few people, even among ordinary democrats, stood up for them.

When they went after Van Jones, Obama let him go.

When they went after Shirley Sherrod, she was immediately tossed under the bus and if she had not stood up for herself, she too would have had her life ruined.

I don't get it, but the leaders of this party we belong are so scared these cowardly little twirps that as soon as they attack, no matter how illegal it is, Dems jump through hoops trying please them.

So, we are on our own, that is clear.

There has been no fight, only capitulation and compromise and bi-partisanship which in reality is 'doing it their way so they don't call us names'.

Let them defund NPR, in fact NPR if they weren't of same cravenly fearful mentality, would scare the shit out of those trying to stop them by REFUSING funding and promising to now do some real investigative reporting since they no longer can be controlled by the government pittance they receive.

And they should start with a real, thorough investigation into the background behind these thugs. Something the MSM will not do.

I am so sick of belonging to a party that acts like scared five-year-olds every time the rightwing sends out its thugs no matter how lame the 'stunt'. It's cringe inducing to hear NPR claim state how 'appalled' they are by someone speaking the truth.

Take a lesson from the right. What would they do in a similar situation? They would not be apologizing that's for sure, they run with the story, make the issue about the Teaparty's racism and congratulate the guy who told the truth.

Sickening how weak the left is.
