I'm picturing protesters flooding into the Capitol, occupying the legislative floor, not allowing any further action to be taken. Is this even possible, or would the rethugs just convene elsewhere in secret and conduct their dirty business?

Still, the symbolism of angry pissed off Wisconsinites occupying the Capitol would be priceless.

1. Physically blocking the process is all the masses can do.
Simply showing disappoval is not moving the governor et al. They don't care about sticking it to the working class, and apparently they don't care what anyone thinks.

It may be gratifying to see the people do what you suggest, or even give it a hell of a try, but the boring procedural and legal arenas are the battlefield now. While this plays out, the people have plenty of recall and voter registration work that will be critical in the months to come.
