1. It's easier to control the serfs when you keep them barely above subsistence level.

2. By getting rid of unions, the Republicans are assuring
cheap labor to their Corporate Masters.

Last night on THE LAST WORD, Frum clearly explained
Republicans have been frustrated with Unions for years.
Getting rid of unions, means they cannot assign "more
workers than needed", employer can move employee from
one job to another to meet his needs. He made it sound
as if the unions in a prison might assign eight workers
to supervise 6 prisoners. Under unions, you cannot ask
worker to complete a simple task or lend a hand. Under
the union he does only what is his written job description.
He cannot be asked to help someone else. There is no
doubt after listening to Shrum getting rid of unions
is a GOP priority. No Union means the Employer can pay
as little as they wish, can change the work load at a
whim, can get rid of workers according to his wishes.

The States are making themselves "Competitive". Offer
humongous tax breaks to Businesses who will come to their
state. Offer Cheap Labor with no controls on hours
and job descriptions. You know, like the Chinese do it.

5. It's a trickle down recovery that has NOT trickled down.
It's how both the bushes and Obama planned it. Bail out the banksters, give them tax cuts to keep their ill gotten wealth, funnel loads of tax dollars their way through the Fed.

Then all the middle class has to do is wait until that yellow flow of minimum wage, no benefits, part-time jobs are pissed out on them.
