Of course there is no Reichstag to burn but today one can substitute "budget deficit" crises. Happening in Michigan as well.

Imagine if New York or California tried to pass a law allowing their Democratic Governors to unilaterally remove governments in Republican-led towns and hand them over to their appointed dictator friends.
