You must think that's crazy talk.
I believe that they helped to politicize the issue by speaking about it only during their prime time opinion lineup, thereby making it a partisan issue.
But when people like big eddie started saying that the demonstrators being calm and peaceful was why they were being so effective, it donned on me that MSN-BS, is nothing but bullshit.

34. As for Ed out there with the people of Wisconsin,
he damn well owes them the time and the exposure for whining about staying home instead of voting.

<..> Ed Schultz has been on fire on MSNBC these past three weeks, hasn't he? Nothing like pure, unadulterated union-busting by Republicans to get old Ed fired up and ready to go. A let's not pretend Ed didn't have a plan for this all along, right? Remember this from him last fall?

"And I’m announcing today, I’m not going to vote in the midterms. I’m not going to do it. You can say it’s un-American. No, it’s rather revolutionary is what it is. I’m at that point. I’m checking out. I’m checking out of the Democrats because they are proving to me that they don’t know how to handle these big babies over on the right that say no. You know what you do? You get in the driver’s seat, you hit the throttle, and you run over them."

Un-American? Hell no, Ed! That's as American as it gets. Hell, it's practically Republican, it's so American! Create a problem that you yourself can benefit from. Help make sure the GOP takes control by helping suppress the Democratic vote then watch your rating positively SOAR when you get to be on television almost non-stop when they start crushing unions like cockroaches.

I tweeted MSNBC and CNN that they should be ashamed of themselves having NO coverage of WI with nearly 200,000 protesters when they covered every teabag rally. I should also email Chuck Todd since he writes me back.

to cover more than one thing at a time. I don't think anyone is begrudging the Japan coverage, but I would settle for even a twenty to one ratio, with Japan getting the lion's share by far. Could WI get a couple of minutes every hour or so?

28. And when I watched MSNBC earlier, they repeatedly showed a U.S.
bus accident.
Not saying don't show that, but if they can report on that, they should be able to include reporting on Wisconsin. They clearly could if they wanted to, which leads me to believe they don't want to.

Because it is disaster porn, keep playing the same videos instead of covering it when something changes or new information is obtained while you cover other news topics.

26. That's true but can't they take just 1 minute
to skip some of the repeated film of the shaking and show WI. I don't think that would take away from the tragedy of what has happened in Japan. They seem to be able to work in full stories about the bus accident in NY and flooding in the NE (tragedies too) and not detract from Japan.

16. Whereas Press TV
devoted about 20 minutes to the subject on their tv news channel.

Also :

'Upwards of 150,000 people will show up around the capital of Madison today'

People in Wisconsin are taking to the streets once again to protest the latest measure by Governor Scott Walker to undermine state unions and cut workers' pay. The bill was recently signed into law.

Now, ordinary people, unions, farmers, and various organizations have organized a large rally for today to take place in Madison.

To find out the latest in this mass protest, we spoke with Norman Stockwell who is reporting live from the Capitol. Stockwell is the Operations Coordinator at WORT 89.9 FM Radio.

He told the US Desk in Press TV that people have started to gather and tractors from all over the state of Wisconsin from the Wisconsin Farmers Union and an organization called Family Farm Defenders are making their ways towards the protest site.
