Wisconsin recall efforts- news? How does it go?
The title says it all. I'm trying to find some updates on the recall efforts on the Republican Senators in Wisconsin. Are they close to turning in signatures, how many do they have to collect??

2. Even though Walker is not subject to recall until January...
Can they/Are they already collecting signatures now? (Besides the RETHUG State Reps/Senators)

3. No, we're collecting names of people who will sign when we can. We are also recalling 8 Senators.
I think that's the effort to which the OP refers.

5. If it;s anything like the one we had, they collect signatures, then have to verify them

(that can take a lot of time).

The last I heard, the ones who were eligible for recall could be added to the ballot for that s.c judge (not sure of the date), but Walker & others would have to be in office for a year before recall. There probably is a time limit on signatures, so a new recall petition would have to be done for them (i assume)..but not until NEXT January.

Watch for Walker-ites to start bawling about the expense of a recall election & how they can;t afford it..

9. I can hear it now on Morning Joe!
"It's gonna cost $$$$$$$$ to do this recall election! Don't they know we're in a budget crisis?"

AND

"The regular people of Wisconsin are going to see through this and it will end badly for the unions!"

Riiiight...
