6. I happen to be watching CNN but I understand your frustration.

My brother calls me on the phone and during our conversation he starts looking things up on the internet- things that relate to our conversation. Anyway, he reads through it while saying things like "look at that, wow I didn't know that, gheez that is interesting"

It makes me crazy but I can not get him to understand that I am NOT looking over his shoulder. I have decided its a male thing. Same with this type of disconnected post - almost always a male.
