2. well, the idiot voters of California won't allow taxes to be raised.
How else is Jerry going to balance the budget except by cutting spending? the Stupid is strong in California.

The voters made a two-thirds vote requirement on tax or fee issues. They also made term limits so we can't have any career politicians that might have the guts to go over the heads of the voter to do what is right.

When I get to hell I plan to kick Howard Jarvis in the nuts.

6. We'd love the taxes to be raised on the wealthy.
I think we have the highest number of billionaires per capita. Cost of living is insane here and we have the yacht brigade telling us how hard they have it? Let *them* pay.
