I heard that and I'm, 'WTF'? The people in Japan are going to need that, and so much more. It's not about "US". So the people in Japan remain relatively calm while some people thousands of miles away are losing their shit. Not that we shouldn't be concerned, but the panic over potassium iodide in some parts of the US right now is a little ridiculous.

8. As long as it counts as a payment on the debt we owe them.
We supposedly owe Japan over $800 billion. We should send all the help we can. The value of which should be deducted from what we owe them.
