Tell me why I have 3 news networks on my tv and no recent news. It is all
repeats from Tuesday evening. Grrrrr!

3. I have a brother in Japan so I'm up tonight obsessing. I'll have to
try and find CNN headline news. Maybe they are actually on the air.

16. there's news right now. japan self-defense forces are using helicopter
to pour coolant on reactor no. 3. as we speak. it was on nhk japan. probably something about it on nhk world soon.

2. Silly Goose.. news only happens in prime time, didn't you know that?
The LEAST they could do is to slap up a "recorded earlier" banner, instead of all the BREAKING BREAKING RIGHT NOW AND WE REALLY MEAN IT stuff ..

It hasn't worked well for me tonight either.

When it was working ok before, I clicked on that link once. I closed that.

After time passed, while I was trying to figure it out, quicktime opened a small player for the video. It was defaulted to low (see the buttons on the right of NHK's screen). I clicked on a higher one and it just worked. Every time I returned to the site except tonight, it just loaded that player after a bit, which I preferred since it was small and I could move it in and out of view readily.

So much happening but no details being released. All the 'real news ' channels are reduced to rehashing previously released data.
