i just put my address in (i'm in california) and the chances for an earthquake greater than 5.0 in the next year is 1.7. very helpful website!

7. It does seem like there is a pattern on the ring of fire that it switches
back an forth form our American side to the Asian side.

8. Sometimes it skips
I have been warning my friends since NZ that Japan was next, then Alaska, Washington or Cali. Sometimes it skips us but it's like Pacific rim roulette.

9. I think it skips the US because they go south. We have a long American
(South & North)coast line on the ring of fire.
