The Tea Baggers got a slap in the face from the Va GOP - Primary not Convention
:bounce: <-- Va GOP  <-- Va Tea Party
 <-- me
Apparently the old boy party faithful decided with no Tea input to not have a convention but to rather have a primary. Basically they chose George Allen as the 2012 Senate nominee.
The local RW radio host was beside himself this afternoon in complete disbelief.
Certainly Bob Bennett in Utah would have greatly preferred a primary contest to the party convention stacked with Tea Baggers that cost him the re-nomination for his Senate seat. Is Macaca Allen so popular with the state GOP in general that his winning the primary is a sure thing?
