We do not need a new UN resolution to attack North Korea. Technically it's still a cease-fire
So we can use the original UN authorization to resume military actions against North Korea in order to stop them from slaughtering their own civilians. Plus, they've conducted several unprovoked attacks against South Korea over the past few years.

So how about it? Let's go kick some commie ass.

1. Are they currently slaughtering their civilians?
Are the civilians requesting outside assistance?

5. Weren't they starving?
Outside assistance would have been appreciated no doubt. Maybe because they can't tweet us that means they don't want to be saved!

7. While the conditions are no doubt awful in NK,
there is a distinction between starving and mass murder.I don't see how a military intervention would do anything for people starving. I don't have any interest in the US getting involved everywhere, every time despots are oppressing (especially militarily). However, I think we should act to mitigate harm whenever possible by means of trade, diplomacy and cooperation with the global community.

Every country is different, with a different set of problems requiring different solutions.
