I still have not read of any cuts taken by upper management employees.
I could have missed it but I have seen any articles of upper management, taking any cuts, in any state or city that have attacked the rank and file union members. These are the 100,000 plus people who have executive health care plans and in some cases executive pensions. I just saw an article about Costa Mesa Cal. cutting half it`s work force. Again, cops, fireman, street workers but no upper management. Not even an assistant to the assistant was mentioned. Correct me if I am wrong but if I am right then where is the outrage?

3. Can't cut the managers.
Unlike the rest of us proles, they are smart and talented. If you don't shower them with money, they refuse to get jobs. Or something. :sarcasm:

4. It's no use trying to appeal to their sense of fairness.
They have none. They know they're being unfair. They don't care. They think we're suckers.

FYI John Kasich has given raises to his handpicked cabinet member buddies.

5. First thing John Kasich did in Ohio is give everyone in his
administration a raise.

6. The first thing Rick Scott did
before even being sworn into office was to collect 405 resignations, all senior managers. In fact the "top ten" positions in every State agency. He has been slow to refill the positions, but those he has filled feature a significant number of recent college grads, who worked on his campaign and took the positions at minimum pay. There is a massive brain drain and will be a huge learning curve, but he has gutted senior management.

It may or may not be going on elsewhere, but in FL, Senior management types have taken a rather huge cut.
