Damage report from yesterday's storm in Los Angeles:

My assistant tells me that the flooding came over the curb on Ventura Blvd and into the waiting room at my office. She's mopping up. It appears that there will be no lasting harm, but I will know more when I get in. YAY FOR SHEET LINOLEUM!!

And there is a live power line down out back of the place that DWP is working on.

Anybody else have flooding/damage to report?

ETA: The last time it rained hard enough to do this was Feb 1992. It wasn't as bad then, because the flood came in the afternoon on a weekday when we were able to atand guard with heavy towels and mops and buckets to clean up as it flowed in.
