Union Members to Challenge Bank of Montreal and M&I Executives at Shareholder Meeting (online live)

The Bank of Montreal, which purchased M&I Bank, will be holding its annual shareholder meeting today at 12:30PM (Eastern). Union members from the United States and Canada will be on hand to challenge BMO and some of the M&I executives at the meeting.

The Bank of Montreal is in the midst of purchasing M&I Bank, one of Governor Scott Walker's biggest contributors. The bank received a $1.75 billion bailout in the fall of 2008 and its CEO, Mark Furlong, is scheduled to be gifted an $18 million golden parachute and a move to Chicago to take over BMO's Harris Bank operations.

1. Good move. We need to do something now that these corporate
persons can donate to candidates to let them know that there are consequences.
