Local News reporting that Rand Paul is considering running for President 2012.

http://www.miamiherald.com/2011/03/22/2128947/tea-party-president-rand-paul.html

This story says he's being "coy", but he is his father's son. He said he wouldn't run against his father. This could mean Ron isn't running in 2012.

8. Sadly I am not surprised
I worked for Conway's campaign last year and I predicted that if Rand won, it would be a matter of time before his White House ambitions showed up.

I derive my third-generation rug obsession from her. I remember her trying to convince me that Clinton had a rug. At the time, the only rug-wearing President I could think of was (obviously) Washington.

This would have made her life complete.

18. Well, Obama only had a few years in the Senate.
Of course, he had positions in state government before that, and other jobs in public service. Still, I thought it was too early for him to run for President when he first started putting out feelers. He won anyway, so I guess you have to strike while the iron is hot.

for the GOP. It is going to be hard not to pretend to run for president. Fake running for office is the new way to generate wealth in the GOP.
