Twitter war: Mitt Romney, President Obama camps battle over health care
Mitt Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom spent health care reform’s one-year anniversary sparring with top Obama adviser David Axelrod on Twitter.

"I wonder if @davidaxelrod will praise Romney's proposed executive order issuing Obamacare waivers to all 50 states?," Fehrnstrom said Wednesday morning, referring to Romney's Tuesday night declaration that he would allow states to opt out of the national health care reform system if he becomes president.

Axelrod struck back: "@EricFehrn I'm not going comment either way until he lands on his final position," he tweeted about an hour later.

"@EricFehrn I still admire what he did in MA on health care, though. In many ways, a model for the nation!" Axelrod said in a second tweet.

1. Wait a minute,
isn't " Obamacare" basically what Romney signed into law as governor of Massachusetts?

2. Same exact thing
But Romney claims that the difference is that it's a state's rights issue. He's proud that he did it in MA but it shouldn't be forced on the entire country.

5. Didn't President Obama already offer to extend waivers to states starting in 2014
instead of 2017? Provided that the states design programs that meet the minimum standards set forth in the law, which the Republicans, of course, have absolutely no interest in. Romney, I guess, just wants to be able to hand out waivers and let states, at least those ruled by Republicans, opt out of ACA completely and just do whatever the hell they want? :puke:
