Bet you can't.

Yeah, "Republican accomplishment" is to humans as "KFC" is to chickens.

I'll even go a step beyond. Name one since the Reagan Administration.

Bring it, lurkers.

E Pluribus Unum.

5. Actually I can think of one. The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990
Edited on Sun Dec-26-10 09:27 PM by Hawkeye-X
that President Bush the Elder signed.

This one was a Democratic legislation with a Rethuglican President.

11. The net effect is to drive money toward drug company investors.
Consider that everybody pays for health care and that results in multi-million dollar profits for a very few people. The siphoning off of these huge profits means that health benefits run out.

12. If it is so terrible why did none of our candidates in 2008
propose changing it or ending it? No one running for president said anything. Why did no one in the 2008-2010 Congress propose ending it if it is just for corporate bribers?

14. It was mentioned lots of times
It cost the US government some big money, and it only helped a few. IIRC, hardly any Dems voted for it.

16. No it wasn't mentioned any major candidate.
Are you saying Obama or Clinton campaigned against it? BS. Did DK say anything? How come Congress did not eliminate it? We had control in 2008-2010. It was never proposed by anyone.

Provide us a link to legislation to eliminate this in the recent Congress. Provide us a link to statements against it by any of the candidates running for President in 2008. I won't hold my breath.

Why should I even bother? You claim to know what was said in each and every of the 435 house campaigns and the 30 some odd senator campaigns and you think I am a liar, so what is the friggin use of even talking to you?

Wouldn't your parents been better off if they could have paid half as much for their for the same meds imported from Canada? Think it over, is it good to ship our jobs overseas but prevent our Seniors (me) from getting a price break from across the Canadian border?

NOT POSSIBLE!!!! Corporate bribers made that impossible.

But I do know none of our candidates in 2008 proposed changing it and no one in the Congress proposed changing it.

17. You mean the Interstate Highway System that bypassed a lot of old highways,
therefore killing a lot of small independent businesses, in favor of big nationwide chains that could do the logistics of moving huge quantities of useless plastic trinkets made in China around the nation efficiently to their superstores?

You have a backward view of commerce. The interstate system raised the standard of living for scores of millions. Maybe we should eliminate all roads and go back to horse and buggy. That will show Walmart!
