Ohio House Committee To Change SB5 Before Expected Tuesday Vote
COLUMBUS, Ohio --
The battle over collective bargaining is expected to heat up this week at the Ohio Statehouse.

The House Commerce and Labor Committee is preparing to vote Tuesday on a new version of Senate Bill 5.

Mike Dittoe, spokesperson for Ohio House Speaker Bill Batchelder (R-Medina), told NBC4 he expects the committee vote on Tuesday and a full House vote to follow soon after. Dittoe did not say when the House vote would take place.

Committee members are meeting this weekend with Republican leadership from the House and Senate to make changes to the bill's language.
