The Pope and Gov Walker are on the same stage the Brewers' stadium in front of a huge crowd.

The Pope leans towards Mr. Walker and said, "Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy? This joy will not be a momentary display, but will go deep into their hearts and they'll forever speak of this day and rejoice!"

Walker replied, "I seriously doubt that...with one little wave of your hand? Show me!"

So the Pope backhanded him and knocked him off the stage .

Kind of brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it?

6. Yeah, there is that problem.
I guess I just put a John XXIII type in his place in my mind for the sake of the joke.

7. For all Ratzi's (many) faults, most modern popes have been pro-labor
Catholics in general are pro-labor - hell, how many Irish/Italian/Polish Catholics are members of those public unions in Wisconsin? Police, firefighters, teachers?

Walker just pissed off a sleeping giant, and I can't wait until Wisconsins rise up and kick his lying scumbag ass out of Madison.
