Regarding our owners
The haves and the have mores have just about completed their takeover of America, including everything and everyone in it. Most federal, state, and local politicians are bought and paid for. They are not in office to see to your well being. They are there to serve those who own them – and therefore, own us all.

And those handful of super-wealthy owners have decided it’s time that we peasants knew our place. No more Social Security crap. No more Medicare/Medicaid crap. No more unemployment insurance crap. No more organized unions crap. No more minimum wage crap. No more “Obamacare” crap. No more Planned Parenthood crap. No more crap at all.

It’s time to bring back Jim Crow. It’s time to reinstate the rights and privileges of the Robber Barons. It's time to get rid of this "American middle-class" crap. It’s time to do away with all the bullshit in that piece of paper that people call their "Constitution."

It’s possible that these insane people have gone too far. It’s possible that the election in 2012 will put an end to them and the Republican Party. Then again, since they own the voting machines, it’s possible that pigs may fly.

I guess we’re going to have to wait until the next election to find out whether or not we still have a stake in this country, or a say in our own lives. But in the meantime, the damage they are doing may be beyond repair.

So what do you think? Are we totally screwed? Or can we wipe them out in 2012 and repair the damage?

1. other than Bernie Sanders - do we have anyone in DC looking out for us?
How can you wipe out the problem when you don't have the army to defeat *them*?

2. "It’s possible that the election in 2012 will put an end to them and the Republican Party"
That would be nice. But it ain't going to happen.

I wish I was wrong tho - I really wish I was wrong

I really wish we could seize the cash from the haves and have mores, and redistribute it. Yeah, WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION.

I really wish we could tax the rich at 75% - AND THAT'S ME BEING NICE! Hell, they paid 90% during WWII

I really wish we could take away corporate personhood

But if wishes were fishes, we'd all smell funny

3. I don't think national elections change anything very much.
On a local level, though, they are still crucial.

4. The Republican party died in 2008
and Mr. Obama brought them back to life. Apparently he felt governance would be tedious without them.
