........

FYI:

The reason the Smithsonian is NOT one of the choices is because they have the Space Shuttle Enterprise. This will be moved somewhere else, as yet undetermined, and the Smithsonian will then house Space Shuttle Discovery.

2 more launches are scheduled before the end of the Shuttle Program:

Date: April 19 +
Mission: STS-134
Launch Vehicle: Space Shuttle Endeavour
Launch Site: Kennedy Space Center - Launch Pad 39A
Launch Time: 7:48 p.m. EDT
STS-134 Description: Space shuttle Endeavour will deliver the Express Logistics Carrier-3 (ELC-3) and the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) to the International Space Station.

Date: June 28 +
Mission: STS-135
Launch Vehicle: Space Shuttle Atlantis
Launch Site: Kennedy Space Center - Launch Pad 39A
Launch Time: 3:40 p.m. EDT
Description: Space shuttle Atlantis will carry the Raffaello multipurpose logistics module to deliver supplies, logistics and spare parts to the International Space Station. Atlantis also will fly a system to investigate the potential for robotically refueling existing spacecraft and return a failed ammonia pump module.

6. There's something wrong with this poll - Frickin Tulsa
leads both the Kennedy Space Center and the Johnson Space Center in votes.

Tulsa leads all locations in votes.

7. I think someone must have emailed this around to that location and they voted.
I don't think it will be the "winner" but this is not a "real" poll - just asking for comments. I will be interested to see who gets them. I think Dayton has a good chance since Boeing has given Ohio a big bunch of money to help it out getting it there.

8. I voted "other," but there was nowhere to say what other.
My vote: http://www.cosmo.org/

It's where the Mercury 7 (the one that sank and was later recovered) and Apollo 13 space capsules were restored.
