Donald Trump Birther issues..what goes around

http://www.businessinsider.com/donald-trump-birth-certificate-birther-2011-3

What goes around comes around.
After spending the last week casting doubt on the nature of Obama's birth certificate Donald Trump may have some birther issues of his own. Turns out the birth certificate he 'released exclusively' to Newsmax earlier this week is not the actual thing.

Ben Smith at Politico reports that what Trump provided was a hospital "'certificate of birth' meaning the piece of paper the hospital gave to his family saying he was born. Such a document typically has the signature of the hospital administrator and the attending physician."
Apparently an actual birth certificate would would have the Dept. of Health's seal as well a signature of the city registrar.
Oops.

Take it away Ben Smith:
Trump's mother, it should be noted, was born in Scotland, which is not part of the United States. His plane is registered in the Bahamas, also a foreign country. This fact pattern -- along with the wave of new questions surrounding what he claims is a birth certificate -- raises serious doubts about his eligibility to serve as President of the United States.

1. Donald Trump is that spongy piece of meat stuck between
your teeth that you have to floss out. Carry on.

3. What a damn, slimey bastard to play this lying game because he
thinks it will garner him some votes.

Which goes to show you, to be successful in business you don't have to bother yourself with ethical standards.

5. He's nothing but a media whore
I wouldn't be suprised if this whole thing is nothing but a pathetic attempt to boost the ratings of his TV show The Apprentice.

7. Was his mother a Naturalized Citizen
when he was born? I ask this because my Aunt was an Irish Citizen when my cousin was born. Although he was born in the USA and his Dad was a US citizen by birth, my cousin has Dual Citizenship with the US AND Ireland. As such, he can never run for the Presidency. I don't know if Scotland, and the Crown, has Dual Citizenship like Ireland.

So your point is that Obama, who was born with dual citizenship, cannot be president?

Lame, lame, lame.

The US does not recognize "dual citizenship" and it seems you are among those who totally miss the point. If you are born in the US, you are a natural born citizen. Whether some other country recognizes you as a citizen is thoroughly irrelevant to how you are viewed under US law.

Nice try to sneak that one by, though. As you know, Barack Obama's father was a British citizen and, yes, Barack Obama was born a dual citizen and also a natural born citizen of the United States. You can sell your theory at freeperville.

11. Donald Trump and the birthers........
DT claims to be a cultured man, a man of the world, and yet this cultured bouffant paragon of the American right has never read The London Times Newspaper. Sadly the Times charges for you to read it on-line now (God Bless Rupert Murdoch) so please see an article about birth announcements from the Guardian about Birth Announcements in the Times.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2006/oct/28/familyandrelationships.family3

In Europe, deaths, births and marriages announcements were placed in the local newspaper and if you were DT you would place an advert in the Times (it costs around $90 per word). Sadly, am not that rich but for $25 you can place the advert in the local newspaper, and even a picture if you like.

Please can someone clarify one thing.......the US government must know who was born in the country? Surely before the election this issue should have been sorted out? Also a child born to American parent/s would qualify as being American ? In Europe your nationality is a combination of parental nationality and place of birth, not one or the other.......

Please can some one explain why DT is so worked up!!!! and why he does not know the difference between a birth certificate and a certificate of birth (these do not exist in the UK). Also given that 3 of his children were born to non 'american' mothers - so what is he trying to say?

Am very very confused!
