Protect our Health: Stop Mercury and other Toxics
Mercury is poison and it's likely in you or your loved ones.

Mercury and other other air toxics contribute to a host of heinous health problems from birth defects to premature death.

But we can end the cycle of pollution right now by telling the EPA you support their strong Air Toxics Standard. By sending them hundreds of thousands of messages, we will demonstrate the overwhelming public support for this life-saving standard.

1. Ever wonder why the "new" "safer" more environmentally
Friendly light bulbs all contain mercury?

The Powers that Be, who run the industrial side of Consumer Flag Ship America, need a place to dump the mercury.

So before we organize to have them "outlaw" mercury, we need to figure out:

1) what are the Major Players already doing to rid themselves of toxics such as mercury and benzene, without inflicting the punitive charges of legally complying with shipping the poisons off to the nearest Super Fund site.

2) how can we guarantee that for every product we ensure contains no mercury or benzene etc that we don't see a rise in "substitutes" that are as likely to bring about harmful side effects when they are put in the place of those two. (example - vaccines got rid of mercury for a while, but formaldehdyde, also a substance that should not be injected into newborns toddlers infants or children, started being the replacement for the mercury.)

Am I the only one noticing that so many prescription drugs contain benzene!!

4. The American Dental Association lies.
They think mercury is just fine.
And they will expel and restrict the free speech rights of any dentist who tells people the truth about mercury toxicity.

What a nice bunch of guys and gals, huh???

5. That happens in some places more than other places.
I now live in a very rural county where the dentists freely make a big deal out of how they don't use mercury.

But it did seem like when I lived in the Bay Area outside of San Francisco, that dentists were hassled for saying the same thing.
