The new and dangerous thinking of the victims of neo-liberalism. One mistake and he is dead.

4. That's what I do for a living, lol.
The difference being I'm a licensed,trained and
experienced professional with access to all
the cool toys and required safety gear.
I am impressed, though.
He's definitely got the fearlessness required
for the trade.

8. As long as the pole is good and dry and he avoids touching any ground
he's ok. Wood is a decent insulator for low voltage.
I 'barehand' 120v every day.
Imagine sliding down that pole trying to grab it
with you legs like was. It'll save you 5 grand
for a vasectomy. A former co-worker lost his cool
one time after he tore out and tried to hug the
pole to slow his fall. It looked like somebody
took a chainsaw to his arms and chest.
No matter how you slice it this guy is a safety
man's nightmare.

9. Unbelievable isn't it
I'm betting he has experience climbing coconut trees.

That said - all he wants is some electricity to run that fan. :D

7. I'm in my bucket truck as we speak. Slow night.
I like it: A/C, automatic transmission, cruise control..
That being said, I do have climbing gear
and I'm not afraid to use it.
I'm not 'super climber', but I've been up
around 150'.

10. Better you than me
Over the years we carry coconut water for the guys up the poles after hurricanes. We have loads of respect for them.
