1. Everything I say is false. I will say nothing false on April the First.
This is a true statement.

3. I always say false things on the first.
People need to get a sense of humor.

6. Ah, yes, April Fools Day...
when every bully and abuser gets the validation to say:

"Geez, bitch, can't you take a joke?" and get away with it. And everyone gets to point to the "lack of humor" of the target rather than the abusive nature of "the joker." Well, at least all those who don't know what the Fool and the Joker symbolized. Google it for yourself and learn.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan. I damned near had 3rd degree burns from a "joke" from a "prankster".

9. Yeah, but I still smile about the early morning of April 1, 1954...
...when I sneaked into my parents bedroom and placed a horrible head carved from a large coconut between them as they slept soundly in their bed.

It was nearly 45 minutes before I heard the first screaming.

10. Actually it's a GOP holiday. Families gather 'round the BS tree and hand out BS gifts. :)

12. Unless it it rediculously false and well done
Like the Starbucks Transcontinental Coffee Pipeline reported by Morning Edition some time ago.

There are many other examples.

13. Really?

Not even these?

I can tell you from experience, though, that Asians find the idea of a holiday like April Fool's Day absolutely fascinating.
