Keith Olbermann: Is he or is he not going on
Current TV in April? The month is more than half over and there are crickets. I went to FOK TV and there is no mention of it and I went to Current TV's website and any page that had him mentioned isn't there anymore? Anybody know anything?

3. I thought it was the month of May...
... and that the reason had to do with the number of months he was unable to do so, according to some non-compete agreement.

I can't think he wouldn't be getting ready for it, based on the occasional "worst persons" vignettes posted here.

11. From the Current website...
The show is likely to begin in late May, the Hollywood Reporter wrote on Wednesday. On Tuesday, Olbermann told reporters that the show--which has yet to be given a name--"will be for all intents and purposes an improved and we hope amplified and stronger version of the show that I just did at my previous network."

5. He has said at least once a day on his Twitter account...
The show will be on in "late spring". The first day of summer is June 21. So, "late spring" would likely be sometime during the first 3 weeks of June.

9. It's "Under Construction"...
You don't start up a new news operation overnight. According to Joel Hyatt who is one of the owners of Current it looks like they're making a big investment in setting up this new show right.

They've kept saying "late Spring" for the show to begin...I'd bet June rather than May...but I'm in no hurry...

20. Yes...And Very Good Terms As Well...
Look at how they put David Schuster on the shelf...kept him from going on any other network for nearly a year. It did a lot of damage to David's career and this is the network that also ruined Ashley Banfield. I think he's in the clear at the end of May...and you can catch him on his website.

From what I've been reading it looks like Keith has a lot of input into this new venture and strong support with Hyatt and the folks at Current. I'm an old codger...I'm in no hurry...when he's ready I expect it will be well worth the wait; welcoming an old friend back into the living room.
