Primaries for Palin?
Edited on Thu Dec-30-10 11:48 PM by SlipperySlope
Surely this has been discussed already, but I just ran across it for the first time:

http://www.primariesforpalin.com

PrimariesForPalin.com aims to nominate Sarah Palin as the Republican presidential candidate by encouraging Democrats and Independents to purposefully vote for her in state primaries. In head-to-head polls with President Barack Obama, Palin consistently fares worse than other possible Republican candidates because of her divisiveness. If Palin is nominated, Obama has a much better chance of winning reelection in November 2012.

1. If Palin is nominated, Obama has a much better chance of winning
..... unless all those Democrats and Independents voting for her in the primaries swings the remaining votes to an Obama challenger.

2. I'd rather the RETHUGS self-destruct on their own...
I'm a firm believer in the "law of unintended consequences" and just how unpredictable that can be.

3. I'll be voting for a Democratic candidate in the primary.
And I sure as hell hope I'll have more than one choice.

4. That is VERY DANGEROUS Game They are Playing

Nobody thought George W. Bush could win. He couldn't, but it was close enough to steal and they did.

Whoever the Repiglickin nominee is will have billions of corporate dollars backing them.
More billions from foreign sources who want to keep taking our jobs.
All of it legal thanks to the USSC's "Citizens United" decision.

We could easily be outspent by 20 to 1 or more.

They still have the churches, the courts, and the whole Repiglickin vote stealing machine.

With all those advantages even Sarah Palin might "win" (steal) the election.

America would NOT survive.
