Bloomberg's Poodle, Chancellor Walcott, Uses Connections To Get Out Of Ticket & threaten cops' jobs
Late on Thursday night two police officers stopped a city-issued car which has tinted windows and for failure to use the left turn signal. The passenger in the car was Chancellor, Dennis Walcott, the Mayor's poodle who was outraged that these two police officers stopped the car near midnight and had demanded the driver's license, registration, and insurance card.

The Chancellor challenged the two police officers about stopping the car and identified himself as the Chancellor for the New York City Schools and Deputy Mayor for the last eight years. He demanded the badge numbers of the two police officers who were just doing their job in protecting the neighborhood and then the Mayor's poodle contacted the Police Commissioner, Ray Kelly, to complain about the police officers actions...

In response to the Chancellor's complaint, Ray Kelly authorized an internal affairs investigation against the two police officers who told the investigators that Wallcott was being difficult during the traffic stop. They claim he said the following "you have no right to pull us over". I guess if you are the Mayor's poodle you should not be subject to the traffic laws of the City like everybody else. Therefore, the next time Dennis Walcott says he is just like everybody else, just remember how he used his power and influence to put the bite on two police officers who were just doing their job to protect the community they patrolled in.

1. failure to use turn signal?
That was an excuse to pull this car over.
Walcott is not Bloomberg's poodle. Bloomberg passed him over to appoint Kathy Black who was totally unqualified. She finally left a week or two ago and he was finally made Chancellor.

Another article said that the officers failed to identify themselves when they were asked.
Big difference in the slant of the articles.

3. Why?
He was a passenger and the driver purportedly failed to use a turn signal. How does that justify pulling a passenger out of a car and patting him down?
I'm sorry to hear that you want police state tactics.

6. If he mentioned his poltical positions as a way to try and intimidate the police into letting them
go I have zero sympathy for him.

His argument appears to have included, "I'm too important to be questioned."

Really.

He *heard* it?

What "passenger" listens to... and *remembers* hearing the turn signal?

Woof ! Woof!

5. lots do
let's say you're on your phone and the turn signal goes on and makes it hard to hear your phone.

Or you're alone in the back and it's been a long silent ride. You'd hear and remember the turn signal.
